Vivid made the mistake of promoting The Villa as Janine’s first-ever boy/boy/girl scene when, in fact, she only had contact with one of the men during a foursome scene in that film. Now, once again, Vivid is promoting Janine’s Got Male as featuring her first boy/boy/girl scene, and I’m happy to report that this time around, it’s the god’s honest truth.
Janine’s Got Male is shot gonzo-style by director Paul Thomas, interviewing Janine and other cast members before the sexual action. Fans won’t have to wait long for the “big scene,” as it’s themore… first one out of the gate – with Janine teaming with Dale DaBone and Evan Stone. The guys take turns with her – and for the most part, Janine orally pleases the one who’s not penetrating her. But the real notable fun comes when she goes one-on-one with Evan towards the end of the scene. Evan has her in the doggy position and decides that he’s going to try some anal. He slides his cock in her ass for a second or two, before Janine gives him the message that access to that particular orifice is denied. Still, it’s long enough to qualify as legitimate anal penetration...and this may be the one and only time you’ll see Janine taking cock in her ass on camera, so that moment alone makes this DVD worth picking up!
Next up is young cutie Kimberly Kane and Nick “Drop A Fuckin’ Load” Manning. (Those of you familiar with Nick’s scene know where that nickname comes from.) This is a typical Nick kind of scene, with him dirty-talking through most of the action (which consists of missionary and cowgirl), and ending with a facial.
Janine returns for Scene Three, which gets her into a threesome with Tawny Roberts and Rick Patrick, although there’s not a ton of girl/girl action between the two ladies (some oral on Tawny from Janine...but that’s pretty much it). Rick takes turns with both ladies, although Tawny gets most of his attention. It does appear that Tawny gets anal from Rick in the cowgirl position during part of the action, and the scene concludes with Rick jerking down onto Tawny’s face.
Monique Alexander and Shy Love have a girl/girl scene which may be the only forgettable encounter in the movie. It’s a standard girl/girl with oral and toys that takes place in a room right off the rooftop of a building. It’s a rather dark room, so parts of the scene are not incredibly well-lit, and one can’t help but wonder why Thomas didn’t include Janine in the action, since she’s so good at girl on girl sex.
The final scene begins as if it might be a threesome between Tommy Gunn, Evan Stone and Janine, but Tommy disappears before anything physical begins, leaving Janine and Evan for the movie’s finale. Evan doesn’t try to penetrate Janine’s ass this time (I’m guessing he got a stern reprimand after the last scene!), but he does drill her pussy in the spoon and doggy positions before jerking onto her face.
One note to potential buyers or renters: Despite being listed on the box cover, neither Christie Lee nor male performer Christian appear in this title. Also, please note that Tommy Gunn and Mia Beck, while both making appearances, do not engage in any sexual activities.
Vivid does a nice job with the extras – making sure that all five of the bonus scenes contain Janine in action. All of them are from her “old” Vivid days, so I guess the idea here is that Vivid isn’t quite ready to start using her newer scenes as extras on releases. The disc also contains a 25-minute behind the scenes segment that is worth taking a look at.
Sadly, the A/V quality of Vivid’s titles continues to disappoint. It’s come to the point where they’ve been surpassed by even most of the smaller studios and what I would usually rate as “average” for an adult release is quickly approaching “below average” – not because the quality has changed, but simply because it hasn’t improved, while all the other studios’ DVD transfers are getting better. It’s really a shame, since Vivid has some of the best-looking girls on the market and fans continue to have to watch sub-par DVDs. Hopefully someone over at Vivid will realize that improvements need to be made, and made quickly.
All in all though, this is one of Janine’s best releases since she returned from retirement. I’m guessing it’s also one of her last under the Vivid banner, since she’s officially with Digital Playground now. But those few seconds of anal alone make this baby a must-own!
