Private consistently produces good Euro-porn. The Uranus Experiment may be an exception, though. I say this not implying that it “sucks” rather… it lacks a few things. Overall, the plot is substantially good and there is a heavy dose of special fx. But, somewhere along the way, the sex gets lost. The Private name is usually synonymous with smooth yet uninhibited sexual action. This one lacks that energy, shall I say. Be advised; the title refers very little to the sex-play. The story is actually based around a cosmic endeavor to the planet Uranus. Believe it or not…Ur-anus ismore… not really a pun in this picture. So don’t let the title deceive you. Good, bad or indifferent(your personal view of)…anal sex is not very prominent in the film.

I would normally recommend Private features to the Euro-porn connoisseur or the experimental type couple, considering the usual subject matter: lots of anal, cum-in-the-mouth and voracious fucking. The Uranus Experiment doesn’t contain much of that. It ultimately becomes just an interesting film about the Americans and Russians venturing to the planet for mutual benefit. The sex is kinda just added in. Don’t get me wrong…in some cases the sex plays an important role. I’ll get to that shortly. It’s the overall sexual experience that disappointed me. The scenes are short and lacking physical chemistry. This is a downfall not often witnessed in Private releases.

Here is the story; both the U.S. and Russian space programs decide to separately send shuttles to Uranus where they will meet and mutually conduct experiments. The Russians have a hidden agenda, though. While the Americans seem interested only in the mission as it’s understood, the Russians want to conduct test of human sexuality in space. The film flashes back and forward throughout its entirety. There is in-depth coverage of sneaky Soviet sweethearts extracting love-juice from American astronauts in behalf of science. Some scenes depict the personal lives of the astronauts as well as the preliminary actions leading up to the mission itself. The implications have us perceiving the Americans as all work and the Russians covertly diabolical. However, with a little pervasiveness, those dastardly Soviet babes manage to incite a little play in the NASA guys. Eventually we see the space trip underway. Two shuttles, one destination. Yes… the transports reach the outer-rim of Uranus. It is there that the two shuttles dock together. We are left with an open ending.

Plus sides do exist! I found three very notable scenes; in order to get a “sample” back to her superiors, a Russian babe sexes up an astronaut, takes his jizz right in the mouth and then proceeds to spit it into a handy little zip-lock baggy for easy transport. The other comes toward the end; back at NASA headquarters, an office turns into a six-person orgy with such delights as oral, fucking, anal and d.p.. (This is about the only time you will see any anal or d.p. action) The scene that this film is known for…the zero-gravity cum-shot! Now that is something completely different.

I liked the diverse soundtrack, the plot and the cast. What I didn’t like was for all the care taken in storyline and fx…the sex was sort of abandoned. Hey, it is a sex film. Right?
