Description
After the success of their Carmen Goes To College series of releases, New Sensations tries to revive the franchise with relative newcomer Ashlynn Brooke in the appropriately titled Ashlynn Goes To College.
As the movie begins, Ashlynn’s arrived at her new college on the West Coast, and is making a call back home to Oklahoma, where her sleazy, RV-living, fast-food working boyfriend (played by James Deen) is already in the process of cheating on her by making out with brunette Melanie Scott.
Ashlynn moves into her new dorm room, where she meets her Paris Hiltonmore…-like roommate, played by Celeste Star. Celeste has her own chauffeur (played by Tommy Gunn), who will figure in the plotline later in the movie. The second sex scene of the title is a flashback to a lesbian encounter that Celeste had with Sabrina Rose on a bench outside near a pool. In addition to oral action, this girl/girl session includes some vibrator insertion for both women.
Ashlynn has a flashback moment of her own, imagining back to the days when she and James Deen were together, making love outside on a blanket. Ashlynn’s first scene in the movie is a solid one, but viewers will note how quickly the daylight of the scene fades away, so by the time the action ends (with a pop-shot onto Ashlynn’s chest), it’s so dark that the actors are being lit with artificial lighting.
The next day in class, Ashlynn starts to fantasize about her professor, who is portrayed by porn veteran Steven St. Croix. But Ashlynn isn’t thinking about having sex with him herself. Instead, she envisions fellow student Alexis Love making out with Steven on his classroom desk. This is a good scene, but I do wish Director Andre Madness had kept Alexis in her sexy schoolgirl uniform instead of having her strip naked for the sex...the scene would have been much hotter that way.
Ashlynn goes to a nightclub with Celeste, where we see two other club girls – played by Regan Reese and Savanah Gold (aka Natalie Heck) – getting into a threesome with Lee Stone. Lee takes turns fucking both girls and then jerks into both of their faces, although Savanah gets the majority of the cum blast.
Leaving the party, Ashlynn runs into Tommy Gunn, whom she spills her guts out to about adjusting to college life. Of course, this leads to sex between the two, which takes place in the back of a limo. The sex here covers the spoon, reverse cowgirl and missionary positions and ends with a partial internal/partial external vaginal pop-shot.
For the final scene, it’s back to James Deen’s RV, where this time he’s getting head from Lexi Belle. This is a blowjob-only sequence that concludes with Lexi jerking him into her mouth and swallowing the cum. Ashlynn makes a surprise visit home and catches James cheating on her, which of course frees her up for all kinds of naughtiness in Ashlynn Goes To College 2, assuming New Sensations does a sequel.
The movie is presented here in Anamorphic widescreen, but it does have a few issues. First, New Sensations has decided to put their logo in the right hand bottom corner of the screen for the duration of the movie, which is quite annoying – especially if you have a large screen TV. Secondly, I noticed some pixelation issues in many shots – most notably during the nightclub scene in the movie. Not enough that it was an overwhelming distraction, but enough to bump down my video rating for this title a full point. As far as the audio goes, we get a 2.0 Dolby track.
Extras are about average, with a bloopers reel; a bonus scene from Carmen Goes To College (with Carmen Luvana and Erik Everhard); a “Pick Your Pleasure” fetish menu (which allows you to jump to the sexual action of your choice in the movie); a slide show; and three trailers for other New Sensations DVDs.
While Ashlynn Goes To College isn’t a home run, it’s a pleasant enough diversion that should please both fans of Ashlynn and those of college-themed porno.
