Description
Red Light District provides a direct challenge to Anabolic's NICE RACK series with their own big boob video: 110% NATURAL. Forget the fact that the number in the title could be interpreted to imply that the girls, in fact, have implants which would make them more than 100% (if my analysis makes sense, and if it doesn't, then never mind). Further disregard that the cover design and packaging closely resembles any generic Anabolic/Diabolic title. RLD is trying to create their own line of top tops, and judging by the accomplishments of this second outing (I have not reviewed nor seen the firstmore… edition), it looks like they're on their way to success.
Which is not to say that this DVD is spectacular in every way, shape or form (pun intended), but the abundance of all-natural beauties and hard sex make the routine shortcomings forgivable. Cassidey look-alike Lara introduces herself through a series of stock sex phrases in an impenetrable accent, which is cute but not exactly stimulating. ("You vant to vuck my poo-shay?" she inquires while showing off her boobs and butt.) Brandon Iron and Franco Roccaforte than proceed to work her over in a proficient, but fairly robotic scene of (what else?) hard fucking and deep sucking (or deep fucking and hard sucking, depending on how you interpret such conduct). Except for when she's physically reminded to get into character, Lara is fairly indifferent to the massive fondling, groping, and fingering action. Like most of the scenes in this flick, this vignette is filled with a few seconds of light slapping, hard kissing, rimming, and, of course, oral cumshots.
Dirty blonde Angel gets together with a guy who somewhat resembles that "Serge" character from the original BEVERLY HILLS COP (and its terrible second sequel). And though their scene is far less nasty, it is also far more passionate. Lovely Angel looks very much like she's into her scene, and it's a nice change of pace from the prior threesome with Lara. Angel makes another appearance in the Bonus Scene found elsewhere on the disc, where she performs a blowjob on the director to orgasmic completion. Neither scene is ideal for couples viewing, but you can probably show these scenes - as well as the last one with cover girl Trixi - to your wife or girlfriend without too much of a cold reaction from them.
The threesome with raven-haired Ronita and Brandon and Steve is fairly standard stuff, but she takes the only DP to be found. Even more forgettable is the trio with Veronica, whose bright red hair and hard looks aren't very flattering at all. She takes twin facials courtesy of two consecutive tit-fuck, but that is about the most interesting element in this anal-less and pretty boring scene. Finally, covergirl Trixi greets us with her fresh-faced beauty in a straight boy-girl segment with a pony-tailed guy who looks like an extra from a low-budget gangster movie. Yet, their moments together are surprisingly gentle and even seductive, with explicit kissing and an extended period of foreplay. Like Veronica, Trixi also shuts the door to any anal penetration, but she's pretty enough to get away with that sort of thing, and just sexy enough to warrant an above average rating for this film.
Technically, this DVD is up to par with most gonzo titles of this caliber. All the scenes take place indoors, so the lighting is consistent and the picture is always clean and clear. However, for some odd reason, the soundtrack is split into two distinct tracks, with the voices placed in the left channel and the music (which is only heard during the opening credits and menu sequence) coming from the right. This flaw is evident in a few recent Sin City titles, and is just as distractingly noticeable here. If you watch your DVDs through a mono television, then the strange audio mix won't sound too bad. But in any event, you will definitely have to raise the volume quite a bit just to hear what's going onscreen.
The Special Features are just average when compared to other major studios, but they certainly are slightly better than those we get from Anabolic. Besides the Slide Show, Trailers and a Bonus Scene with Angel, Red Light District gives us a Behind The Scenes on almost all their discs. (However, whether this is a fair trade-off for Anabolic's brilliant "Cumshot Recap" is debatable.) This featurette is mostly comprised of footage of the girls posing for pictures, or getting ready for a shoot, or just lingering around. Lara has a few amusing moments when she is given an impromptu English lesson where she learns to pronounce important porn terms like "fuck" and "pussy." The rest of the segment, however, is standard, aimless, rambling stuff.
But despite the action by rote and lack of truly inspired sex scenes, I found five out of the six encounters from 110% NATURAL to be very enjoyable; and for that reason, I can give it an 83.33% recommendation.
