Hollywood brought us Murtaugh and Riggs; now adult director Nic Andrews brings us Roth and Simms – two cops who find themselves protecting a beautiful woman from the kingpin of an auto heist ring in the Los Angeles underground.
Although Jesse Jane gets the female lead as Heather Meyers, the woman Roth and Simms are assigned to protect, the real stars of Loaded are Roth and Simms themselves – played nicely by Barrett Blade and Eric Masterson, respectively. Blade’s Roth is a messy, foul-mouthed, slob of a cop; as opposed to Masterson’s Simms who is neat, proper and by-themore…-book. It’s a combination we’ve seen many times in mainstream film, and it works well for the storyline presented here.
Roth and Simms’ nemesis is Anthony Scott (played by Tyce Bune), the cold-blooded leader of the auto ring who doesn’t think twice about killing anyone who crosses him or gets in his way. We learn of Scott’s viciousness early in the film when he meets up with Marcus Brody (Lee Stone), who has been hired by Scott to deliver some vehicles and VIN numbers (Vehicle Identification Numbers) to him. But when Lee tries to pass off some bogus VIN numbers to Scott, he gets gunned down for his trickery. However, Scott didn’t notice that Marcus’ girlfriend, Heather, was waiting in a nearby car...and when he notices that she has witnessed the murder, he sends his henchmen after her.
Meanwhile, Roth and Simms have been assigned to the grand theft auto case, and although they are not yet aware of Heather’s witnessing the murder, they are tipped off to Scott thanks to an informant named Dante (Cheyne Collins), who they track down after a drag racing contest that kicks off the beginning of Loaded.
After having to flee her apartment from Scott’s hired thugs, Heather gets in contact with the police, and Roth and Simms are assigned to keep her under protective custody at a local motel. They also get a lead on Scott – but make the mistake of bringing Heather along on their raid, which results in Scott’s kidnapping of her. Loaded concludes with a huge shoot-out on a Los Angeles pier, full of the kind of action, guns, bullets and explosions you’d expect to see in the latest summer blockbuster. Those who have seen the ending of Lethal Weapon 2 will notice a very similar ending in Loaded, but director Andrews has always paid homage to his favorite films in most of his adult features (No Limits mirrored The Game; Rush was similar to True Romance, etc.)
As for the sexual action, Nic Andrews provides adult fans with the kind of well-filmed fun we’ve come to expect from his porn titles. There’s an opening scene between Cheyne and Brittney Skye that takes place in the back of a van after the two have drag raced each other (Brittney says she doesn’t “fuck losers”, so she lets Cheyne win the race!). Then, shortly after Tyce kills Lee’s character, we see Tyce back at his base of operations getting it on with Lea De Mae.
Headliner Jesse Jane has two sex scenes in the movie (the DVD contains another Jesse Jane sex scene as part of the bonus features), the first being a flashback/dream she has about making love to Lee Stone. Later in the movie, when she’s holed-up in the motel with Eric Masterson, she gives his character a little sexual therapy by showing him the proper way to make love to his wife! Now that’s the kind of hands-on training any man could use!
Despite the presence of Jesse, I actually found the final sex scene – one between Asia Carrera and Barrett Blade – to be the hottest one in Loaded. This is primarily due to the fact that Asia is playing Barrett’s police superior, and has been riding him most of the movie about his poor grooming habits and even poorer detective skills. When he goes into her office to apologize for his recent behavior, her lust takes over and the two go at one another right there in her office!
Extras on the disc include a feature-length commentary track, a bloopers real, behind the scenes footage, cast biographies and a slide show. There's also a nice number of Digital Playground trailers on the DVD. But the coolest bonus may be a bonus scene with Jesse Jane and Barrett Blade that was cut from the final movie. It runs about 10-minutes and concludes with Barrett cumming all over Jesse's tongue...one of the first times I have seen her take a facial shot!
Although I don’t feel Loaded is quite as good as Nic’s last movie, No Limits, was – it certainly delivers the goods. More guns may be fired, more things may explode, and more fists may be thrown in Loaded than in any other adult feature I’ve watched in the past. And with a healthy mix of hot sex thrown in as well, this may be the ultimate adult action flick for guys.
With so many babes and bullets in one movie, it’s hard not to enjoy Loaded.
