It’s been a year since we’ve last seen a Tera Patrick movie, and almost two years since she actually filmed one, so her die-hard fans have been anxiously awaiting her Vivid Girl debut – which finally arrives with the release of Tera Tera Tera.
A mix of both gonzo (Tera being interviewed and talking to the camera) and all-sex (well-filmed action by director Chi Chi LaRue), I’m happy to say the long wait has been worth it. Tera Tera Tera is easily the best movie Tera Patrick has released so far in her career, and it’s one of the best Vivid DVDs I have seen frommore… a bonus point of view – as the disc offers a full serving of extras for Tera’s fans.
For those “not in the know”, since we last saw this Asian princess, she has gotten married to Oz actor (and heavily tattooed) Evan Seinfeld, who performs in the boy/girl scenes with Tera on this title. While Mr. Seinfeld – who has donned the porn de plume “Spyder Jonez” for his adult career – isn’t the most visually appealing stud to see pounding Ms. Patrick (or perhaps I’m just jealous!), it’s obvious that Tera is really enjoying performing with him on camera, and that enjoyment helps add to the “heat level” of her scenes on this DVD.
But even more noteworthy than the fact that Tera is back in action is the fact that she has her first full-blown girl/girl scene in this title – choosing fellow Vivid girl Savanna Samson for her initiation. I must admit that I was a little concerned about Tera at the beginning of this coupling...she seemed very tentative about eating out Savanna, mildly licking her pussy rather than diving in there and going at it. However, as the scene progresses you can see Tera starting to really enjoy it – and when she goes in for her second round of clit licking, she literally buries her face in between Savanna’s legs...making her conversion to bisexuality complete!
There are two non-Tera scenes on this title, the first being an alleyway threesome that takes place in front of a Roaring 20’s era car and featuring blonde Jordan Haze plus male studs Mick Blue and Tristan Seagal. The other is a seven-person orgy that takes place in and around a scaffolding and features blondes Kim Chambers, Nicole Sheridan, Ashley Long and Kimberly Kane, along with males Mick Blue, Voodoo and Grant Michaels. This proves to be one of the more interesting scenes I’ve seen real-life couple Nicole and Voodoo in, since they have no contact with each other throughout the action...instead, Nicole gets her pleasure from Mick, while Voodoo is lucky enough to service both Kimberly and Ashley.
The final scene in the movie is a threesome between Tera, Evan (Spyder) and Savanna in which Savanna basically helps out by sucking on Evan and pleasuring Tera, but never gets penetrated by Ms. Patrick’s hubby. There’s more girl/girl fun here as Tera and Savanna share a double-ended jelly dildo; and the scene concludes with Evan jerking his load onto both women’s faces as they suck him off.
The biggest problem with the DVD version of Tera Tera Tera is that the transfer is just a little too dark in spots and lacks the overall sharpness you’d find in some other studio’s top-notch releases. Other than that, the disc does offer some very nice bonuses...even more than one would receive on a typical Vivid release. In addition to the option of watching selected scenes in multiple angles, there are two additional audio commentary tracks – the first with director Chi Chi LaRue and co-star Savanna Samson, and the second with Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld. While there are some gaps in both commentaries (Tera and Evan tend only to comment on the scenes Tera is in), both are quite enjoyable listens and more entertaining than most adult commentary tracks I have heard in the past.
Also on the DVD is a bonus scene with Tera and Evan, which may be made up of deleted footage from their one-on-one encounter that starts off the movie. It’s a blowjob-only sequence, but it ends with a great facial that literally coats Tera’s face with cum. Other extras include a Tera bio; two slide shows; behind the scenes footage; a bloopers reel; deleted scenes; and trailers for both this title and other Vivid releases.
It’s been a long wait, but it’s great to see Tera back in action, and great to see her launch her Vivid years with a well-put-together effort. Three cheers for Tera Tera Tera!
