Description

Though the title seems to imply themes of BARELY LEGAL or BRING 'UM YOUNG love and lust, YOUNG FUN is actually a no-nonsense, vignette-oriented fuck flick, with little to no pretense as to story or plot. Based on Jenna's introductory statements, the premise of the movie is a pool party of sorts (thought certainly not on the level of A POOL PARTY AT SEYMORE BUTTS), where Jenna invites her closest friends (aka JKP Girls) over for a little rest and recreation. Directed by veteran adult film actor Steve Drake, YOUNG FUN has some fair to good sex scenes, though there's nothing here to even remotelymore… approach Jenna's best work any of the FLESH HUNTER volumes. There's no doubt that the girls here are indeed young, and do indeed have fun, but that's about it.

The main reason why any self-respecting pornophile would pick up this title is, of course, for Jenna Haze. Make no mistake about it: she lives up to her hype and then some, but she seems to be deliberately subdued during her poolside straight scene with Billy Glide. She looks lusciously tasty in a purple bikini, with her perfect body glowing luminously under the natural sunlight. Yet, she takes neither an anal, nor a cum facial in this opening scene, which is as disappointing as it is bewildering. Has success spoiled Jenna? Or is JKP just trying to fit into the couples market of adult titles? It just has to be the latter, because I always thought that nothing short of Niagara Falls could quench Jenna's thirst for sex.

At the end of the flick, Jenna has sex by another kind of pool (as in table) with cuties Ashton Moore and Olivia Saint, both of whom have a beauty and charisma to match Jenna's. The bikinied triplets look really good together, especially when they’re prodding and poking each other with dildos of all sorts of colors, shapes and sizes. Though not a highly original scene (and would it kill the director to include a few more precious seconds of the girls kissing?), it is a highlight of an otherwise average video.

Aside from the Jenna affairs, you get the usual standard encounters: brunette Felicia Fox also has poolside sex with Erik Everhard and some guy who I couldn't identify but kind of resembles one of the "Jackass" crew. It's actually a very hot scene, but Miss Fox's charms aren't as obvious to me as they are on her growing number of fans. Ashley Blue has a straightforward anal encounter which is made more interesting by her smiling expressions of ecstasy and vocal orgasms. She becomes more charming and attractive the more you watch her at work, and who knows, she may someday become a huge star.

My favorite vignette involves Tyler and Stormy, both of whom share a hot little scene in a gym with Dale DaBone. Beside the natural affection the two blondes have for each other, they really do their damnedest in pleasing Mr. DaBone. Stormy is a notable talent in this movie, and her anal scene is as good as you would expect from any newcomer to the business. The shared cum facial is an appropriate ending to what is probably the best scene of the film. Stormy's very attractive face and natural body complements the hot looks of Miss Haze; it's just too bad that they don't share a scene together.

The picture quality on this disc is way above average for a Jill Kelly flick. Previous titles I've reviewed like RAW SEX (also starring Jenna Haze) and LUST BLUE MOVIE (the less said, the better) had a very soft look with murky colors, which actually gave the features a dreary, depressing look. YOUNG FUN, however, is bright, clear and colorful, and pleasing to the eye. The audio soundtrack is overdubbed with some generic porn music, but you can still make out the grunts, groans, moans and vocal orgasms of the performers at work. Unfortunately, Extras on the disc are plain vanilla average. The somewhat entertaining Behind The Scenes segment is the only original element of what are strictly run-of-the-mill materials from JKP.

Ultimately, YOUNG FUN is a satisfying piece of work from Jill Kelly Productions, and a definite technical step-up from their earliest releases. It isn't Jenna best movie by far, but fans will still want it just for her.
