If you don’t let yourself succumb to all the “hype” about this title (no, it’ isn’t Tera’s first anal...that took place back in Caribbean Undercover; and no it’s not really an all-anal movie...Tera just gets anal in one of her scenes), Teradise Island makes for pretty fun viewing. If the movie seems vaguely familiar, that’s because this isn’t Tera’s first trip to beautiful Hawaii for an erotic vignette movie. The exception this time is that she’s with her own studio now, has hubby Evan Seinfeld (using the stage name “Spyder Jonez”) along for the highlymore…-anticipated anal segment, and – perhaps most importantly for porn fans – you can actually hear the performers’ “moans and groans” as they get it on...something that wasn’t present on those other titles.
The movie clocks in at just over 90 minutes, and features six sex scenes – three of which Ms. Patrick participates in. Each scene begins with a little black and white “tease” segment that will inform viewers on whom is about to perform. The video here is quite sharp, as HD cameras were used for the filming (of course, that doesn’t mean this is an HD release...but the option will be there for Teravision should they decide to release an HD DVD or Blu-ray version in the future), however Teravision chose not to anamorphically enhance the video – meaning widescreen viewers will either have to watch a “window boxed” picture or zoom in. Oddly, the behind the scenes featurette over on Disc Two is anamorphic, so why the movie itself didn’t get the same treatment is anyone’s guess.
The first scene in the movie is a girl/girl encounter featuring Tera with Asian babe Lucy Lee. The two are near a waterfall, and both take turns fingering and licking the other. The girls start off the scene in bikinis (Tera wearing pink; Lucy wearing blue) but, of course, those don’t stay on very long. There’s no toy use in this segment.
The “big” scene comes next as Tera and Spyder (also near a waterfall) go at it. Before we get to the anal part of the scene, there’s a mutual exchange of oral, and penetration in both the doggy and missionary positions. Tera then takes Spyder’s cock deep in her ass in the missionary position, followed by anal in the reverse cowgirl position. To top things off, Spyder unloads an impressive load on his wife’s face – making this far and away the best scene in Teradise Island.
Tera takes the next two segments off, and we get to see some other girls get anally pounded – starting with busty Latina Alexis Amore. Teaming with Tommy Gunn on a hill overlooking the water, Alexis 69s with him and takes reverse cowgirl and spoon vaginally before moving onto anal penetration. The anal positions covered are spoon, standing reverse cowgirl (with Tommy holding Alexis up) and doggy. The pop-shot is a facial that lands both in Alexis’ mouth and on her chin.
Brittney Skye and Kris Knight make out at a location overlooking the ocean in a fairly good scene that was kind of ruined (for me at least) because the director allowed Brittney to wear a pair of pink sneakers throughout the shoot. I’m sure this made things more comfortable for her (viewers will also notice a makeshift platform on the rocks for the performers), but it did take a lot of the sensuality out of the scene. Of course, it’s always nice to see Brittney take it up the ass, and she gets it here in the missionary and anal positions. Something also very nice about this scene (and whether it was intentional or accidental, I’m not sure) is that as the scene progresses, it gets darker and darker, so that when it’s time for Kris to cum, his pop-shot (onto Britney’s tongue and down onto her chest) comes right when the sun is setting in the background.
Tera returns for a threesome with hubby and Alexis Amore that takes place on the beach. I was hoping to see some more anal her for both women, but none occurs. Tera gets missionary, reverse cowgirl and cowgirl here; while Alexis doesn’t get penetrated at all, although she does get to join Tera in sucking on Spyder’s cock and sit on his face while Tera’s riding him cowgirl. The scene ends with Tera’s second facial of the movie, with Spyder blasting his load on both women’s faces.
The final scene has Tera in girl/girl action once again, this time with busty blonde Nikki Benz. The two are on a platform overlooking the beach, and after they lick each other’s breasts for a few minutes, they start taking turns licking each other out. Later in the scene, Nikki uses a glass dildo on Tera while she’s standing; followed by Tera using a glass dildo on Nikki’s pussy. The girls then share a kiss to close out the movie.
Other than a chapter selection, there are no other features on Disc One. Disc Two contains an entertaining (and, as noted above, anamorphically enhanced) 30-minute behind the scenes segment; along with a slide show and three trailers for other Teravision movies (Appetite For Destruction; Test Drive; and Desperate).
Teradise Island is put together well and should appeal to fans of the erotic vignette genre, as well as those who have been dying to see Tera involved in some anal exploration. Just from a visual standpoint, Tera’s probably never looked better on camera, so if you’re a fan, this is a release you won’t want to miss.
